At the start of 2014, we sensed the Holy Spirit calling us as a community to begin the year waiting on the Lord just as the early church did. We spent 10 days praying, fasting and listening, believing wholeheartedly that God wanted to do something new in our lives. Stories of renewed faith, transformation and God's faithfulness flowed from the that time.
As Easter approaches, we will spend another 10 days in prayer and fasting, focusing on the lenten tradition of joining with Jesus Christ on the way to the cross. We invite you to shift from normal routines and create space for reflection on the Story of God that culminates with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
Join us April 9-18 for early morning prayer at the Sutter Street building and communion in different neighborhoods throughout the city.* The 10-days will end with a Good Friday Service on April 18. Click Here for a list of events and details.
*We have a few people who will open up their homes for communion on one evening during the 10 days. But we are looking for more homes (apartments count!) in various neighborhoods throughout the city. If you are willing to consider opening up your home, please let us know here.
